Legal
Terms and conditions
01 Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the GDPR STEPWISE™ programme and website operated by Structured PM Ltd ("we", "us", "our") at www.structured-pm.com.
By purchasing or accessing our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
These Terms form a legally binding contract between you and Structured PM Ltd. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
02 Our Services
GDPR STEPWISE™ is a structured compliance programme for SMEs and growing businesses seeking to achieve and maintain UK GDPR compliance. Our services are:
- Step zero: A free diagnostic. It produces a written picture of where your business stands and which route suits you. You keep what it produces whether you go further or not.
- Self-Serve: A subscription giving access to all eleven steps, step 0 to step 10. You answer questions about how your business works and the platform generates your registers, notices and procedures.
- Guided: The same ten steps, bought one step at a time, with each step reviewed and signed off before the next one starts.
- Done for you: We run the steps and you approve the output. Scoped and quoted for each engagement, contracted separately, and not covered by these Terms.
Both Self-Serve and Guided cover the same ten steps. The difference is who checks the work. Deliverables for each step are described on our website and provided within your compliance dashboard.
03 Eligibility
To purchase our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be acting on behalf of a business, organisation, or as a sole trader (our services are B2B in nature).
- Provide accurate and complete registration information.
- Have the legal authority to enter into contracts on behalf of your organisation.
By purchasing, you confirm that you are acting in the course of a business, trade, craft or profession and not as a consumer. Our services are sold to organisations and sole traders, and our prices and these Terms are set on that basis.
If you nonetheless deal with us as a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights. Any provision of these Terms that would exclude or limit a right you have under consumer law does not apply to you to that extent.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel any purchase at our discretion.
04 Payment & Pricing
All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. Current pricing is:
- Step zero: free
- Self-Serve: £99 a month, or £990 a year
- Guided, per step: step 1 £950, step 2 £650, step 3 £750, step 4 £850, step 5 £850, step 6 £750, step 7 £550, step 8 £850, step 9 £650, step 10 £750. £7,600 for all ten steps. No single step costs more than £950.
- Step verification on the Self-Serve route: £295 for a step
- Done for you: quoted for each engagement. There is no published price.
Payments are processed securely via PayPal. By completing payment, you authorise the charge to your chosen payment method. We do not store payment card details.
We reserve the right to update pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect purchases already completed.
05 Cancelling and refunds
How you cancel, and what you get back, depends on which route you bought. Self-Serve is a monthly or annual subscription. Guided is bought one step at a time. Done-for-you is contracted separately and these Terms do not cover it.
Step zero is free. You do not pay for it, so there is nothing to refund. You keep what it produced whether you go further or not.
Self-Serve
- If you cancel within 14 days of your first payment, we refund it in full. You do not need to give a reason. Email us and we will process it.
- After 14 days you can cancel whenever you like. Your access runs to the end of the period you have paid for, and we do not refund part of a month.
- If you are on the annual plan, the 14 day refund applies to your first payment in the same way. After 14 days we do not refund the remainder of the year. If you would rather keep the option to stop sooner, take the monthly plan.
- Cancelling does not delete your account. Your documents and your answers stay available to you, and if you subscribe again you carry on where you stopped. If you want them deleted sooner, ask us and we will do it. Retention is set out in full in the privacy notice: accounts inactive for more than two years are deleted after we contact you first, and billing records are kept for seven years because tax law requires it.
Guided
- Each step is bought on its own. You can ask for a refund on any step you have paid for and not yet started, and we will refund it in full.
- A step counts as started when the first review or working session for that step takes place. From that point we cannot refund that step, because the work has been done. Any later steps you have paid for and not started are still refundable.
- There is no minimum number of steps and no notice period. Stopping after any step costs you nothing beyond the steps you have already started.
Both routes
- If we cannot deliver something we said we would, we refund it. That applies whatever else this section says.
- To cancel or ask for a refund, email contact@structured-pm.com. We will confirm within two working days and process any refund within 14 days of confirming, to the payment method you used.
06 Access & Accounts
Upon successful payment, an account will be created for you on our platform. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential.
- All activity that occurs under your account.
- Notifying us immediately at contact@structured-pm.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
Access to purchased steps is granted to the individual account registered at checkout. Sharing login credentials or redistributing materials to third parties is not permitted.
We will make reasonable efforts to ensure platform availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.

8.4 You remain the controller of your organisation's personal data and are responsible for your organisation's compliance with data protection law. We provide tools, templates and guidance to support that work. The decisions, and their implementation, are yours.
